Separate a stated detail, a supported inference, and an unanswered question.
One envelope remained blank. Lina set it aside rather than guessing. At closing time, a younger visitor asked whether the unlabeled seeds might grow into flowers.
Lina’s choice suggests caution about making an unsupported identification. It does not establish every aspect of her personality.
The species in the blank envelope remains unknown. A possibility mentioned by a character is not the same as an identification.
Test your interpretation
The first sentence reports a detail supplied by the original fictional passage. The second statement interprets an action. The third preserves an unresolved question. Explain the difference without using the category names as a substitute for reasoning.
